I’m a repeat customer!

The first time I called ELOS was back in March 2017. We recently moved in to a house and within a couple of weeks of living here our dryer stopped working because the dryer vents were so clogged. Wayne and Eddie came out and quickly solved the issue. I showed this to our real estate agent, and he even posted it on his Facebook page as a precautionary measure to others. Someone on his Facebook page even dubbed it as “gray cotton candy”. LOL!

Then today the condensate pump went out on our A/C unit. It seems HVAC companies are really busy (it’s been so HOT in San Jose), but Wayne and Eddie again came out, replaced the pump, and we are up and running and again.

What I really appreciate about Wayne is that he tells it like it is, and he is honest and straightforward.

Pretty sure we’ll be calling ELOS again if something else goes wrong.

I noticed soon after moving into my new house that my dryer was taking more than one cycle to dry my clothes. Then last week, I noticed that the dryer vent on the roof was basically caked with lint…I found Elos here on YELP and called them. They quoted me $100 – $200 to clean the vent and was able to squeeze me in that day with the end cost being $130 to basically de-lintify the vent going from the dryer to to the roof (when they arrived, Wayne said he felt almost no air flow coming from it, it was flowing freely when they left). I’ve dryed two loads of clothes since then and now my dryer is working just fine and I’ve probably minimized any potential fire risks at the same time. Thanks guys!

P.S. Wayne told me to call him back if my dryer still wasn’t drying properly after they cleaned out the vent and he’d come back out again…didn’t have to but good to know that I had that option…

Wayne was greta. they came out to my property and checked what needed to be done. he quoted me a price and it all worked out.

We needed our dryer vent cleared. Been in a condo with terrible placement of the washer & dryer and hadn’t had the vent cleaned for many years. Was plugged up pretty solid. Called another company who doesn’t do vents anymore and they referred me. Reviews looked good so I called and made arrangements with Wayne. He was leaving town so he scheduled Eddie & Josh. Was to be a 3PM appointment but they asked me to call if I was available sooner. Arranged to work from home for the afternoon and they came by just after 1PM.

I was very impressed by Josh & Eddie. They both introduced themselves and shook my hand, very courteous. Figured out what needed to be done and explained it to me. I could tell the knew what they were doing and didn’t mind getting in there (always a mess behind washer and dryer) and getting dirty, yet they were very careful on a rainy day not to make a mess going in and out. As someone mentioned about Wayne, they actually cared about what they were doing and went out of their way to make sure the vent was thoroughly clean and even put a new fitting in the wall for the vent to hose connection. With such a good attitude from all I had contact with I don’t think you could find any better. Thanks guys!

Wayne is what I call a duct geek. Take it from me, my friends call me a Yelp geek. Dude has one of those forehead lights, how cool is that?

Seriously, he is very enthusiastic and is only interested in making sure that air is flowing uninterrupted through your HVAC system.

I called several duct cleaning services and not only were Wayne’s rates as good or better than his competition, but he was the only one who took the time to get into the crawl space to assess what was going on during just the estimate phase. He was able to get a good view of everything that needed repair (some ducts were crushed or routed incorrectly.) Wayne provided an honest quote, always kept in contact, and finished the work in one day and ran just under $1k. He uses a pretty hefty vacuum device (shown in photos) and was able to pull almost a shopping bag full of debris from inside my ducts and registers.

I found Elos on yelp and was very impressed with Wayne (owner) and his team !

First, their estimate for my dryer exhaust vent cleaning was lower than other companies I had rang and Wayne told me that he would charge me fairly depending on how much lint was stuck in my vent pipe which is fair enough, more lint means a longer job for them. He gave me an estimate of $120 to $200 for which my (small) job would probably fit into the $120-$150 range. There was no pressure from him which was nice and he was very pleasant and helpful to speak with.

I made an appointment for a few days later, they rang when they were 20 mins away. They finished the job (Wayne and 2 others) in around 15 mins and cleaned up well. All of them were very professional and courteous. They even showed me how much lint was removed which wasn’t a lot.

Wayne then explained to me that my 2 small plastic connector pipes connected to the main metal vent pipe were not up to code and could melt easily and also were not attached to the main metal pipe very well so they could come away at any time. He suggested I go to a hardware store and replace the plastic connectors with non-plastic ones and explained how to attach them to the main pipe. I really appreciated his feedback and he didn’t push for his team to do the job. In the end I asked him how much for his team to do the small job for me and we settled on a nominal price which saved me some time since he was already at my house and he had the parts in his truck.

The whole time, Wayne was very friendly, easy going, honest and pleasant to deal with. I felt like I was in good hands and was not going to be hoodwinked or ripped off.

I highly recommend Wayne and his team and will be recommending them to my friends and family !

I called Wayne a few times with multiple questions about air ducts cleaning before I booked Elos. He was responsive and patient. I needed to clean the air ducts as soon as possible which he was able to fit me into his schedule for the following week. Though he was behind on his schedule for the day, he made sure to communicate with me. As he arrived with his staff, they were courtesy, polite and careful. Wayne took time to explain the process and showed me what he was doing to each air duct. They were fast and efficient. I would highly recommend Elos.

Contacted Elos through Yelp! air duct cleaning search. So happy I did, he’s very knowledgeable & friendly. Turns out our HVAC internal coil was covered with dirt & dust. Wayne pulled unit apart, cleaned & we have cold air movement now!! Thank you I ll definitely use your service again

I made an appointment thru yelp, Eddy contacted me right away. Wayne and Joshua came right on time on the schedule. Wayne explained really well, he was honest and kind. Worked properly and cleaned every vents including my dryer vent(extra cost). Price is reasonable, Wayne gave me lots of tips of regarding setting up the thermostats and changing filters in stuff. Highly satisfied with their services.
